Barbican Family Film Hub: Bugsy Malone Sing-A-Long (U)

The Churchyard at St John’s Leytonstone turns into a family oasis for the weekend with a programme of unusual and beloved shorts and features, from close to home and further afield.

Bugsy Malone (U) + BSL Intro
Come along and enjoy a free dress up, sing-a-long screening of this classic to close down our Leytonstone Family Film Hub weekender.

With a cast entirely made up of children, this charming musical follows Bugsy Malone, a suave charmer in a sharp suit, who gets embroiled in a dispute between New York speak easy-owner Fat Sam and his well-heeled rival Dandy Dan. Famed for its splurge guns and a career defining moment for the young Jodie Foster, this is an absolute show-stopper and we positively encourage dressing up and dancing in the aisles.

Song sheets will be distributed on arrival for singing along or get in the practice and print yours off at home! Find here.

This screening will also be preceded by a BSL intro courtesy of Sign For All, and will be subtitled on screen for the Hard of Hearing.
